The five-foot-tall tree, named "In the Pink," is fun, unique and has "pizzazz.""It's just all Janet," Thompson said.The women decided to decorate the tree in pink -- a color synonymous with breast cancer. White was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001. White's friends wanted the tree "to be symbolic and represent Janet and her fight," Gault said. They also wanted it todisplay happiness and joy -- traits that White possessed.The women visited stores and purchased pink decorations that reminded them Glashutte Senator Calendar GSH-35 White.The feathers are Thompson's favorite ornaments."Janet would think nothing of putting on a pink cap and putting a feather behind her ear or a flower behind her ear. She was just her own person," Thompson said.
