At present, close to 30 women are moving through the decade-long process leading to a lifelong commitment to the order.Sisters of Charity was founded in 1866 when Galveston Bishop Claude Marie Dubuis, whose diocese included the entire state, Party charm bracelet three nuns from France to provide nursing for the needy.
